Smart Panel Frozen and not responding?
Try these steps......
- Unplug the power cable for the promethean from the wall, and wait 30 seconds before reconnecting the power cable. (If it is too high to reach, DO NOT try and reach it! Safety First! Try instead to disconnect the power cable from the back of the Panel itself.) If you are unable to do either of these, no worries, just let us know and as soon as we are able, we can come by and do ths for you. These steps are intended to be tried if you are able and comfortable doing so.
- If there is a chromebox attached to the wall behind the panel, hold down the power button (it should be glowing) until it shuts off and then wait 30 seconds. You will know it shuts off because the light on the power button will go out. Next, push the power button to turn it back on. If you dont have this device, you can ignore this step.
- If you have not already done so, turn the Panel back on by pushing the power button on the front of the panel (or using the power on button on your remote). After it completely boots, see if it is working better now.
